| Computers 4 Africa - got any unwanted IT equipment 9am - 5pm (Charity) Location: Former B&Q Warehouse, St. Mungo's Road, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, G67 1QR People of Cumbernauld come and bring their unwanted IT equipment. Once received they will sent to specific projects across Africa. You are welcome to drop in and donate PC's, laptops, notebooks, monitors, etc that are less than 5 years old and that are in working condition. All computers donated to us are securely data wiped before being shipped to Africa. Computers 4 Africa will be having appeals in Cumbernauld four times a year, so if you have any redundant IT equipment in the future PLEASE don't forget us. | "Meet the Scientist" 10 am - 5 pm (Interactive Exhibition) Location: Glasgow Science Centre Have you ever wondered what happens to your blood when your doctor takes a sample? On Saturday 7th November we are bringing the laboratory to the public with an interactive event being held at the Glasgow Science centre. Kids will have the opportunity to do "real science" and measure the sugar content of fruit juice. Adults will be able to have their cholesterol measured by trained health care scientists or doctors.
