 Celebrities come out for charity march  2pm    (Charity)
Location: Tinto Park, Govan
Celebrity football team Dukla Pumpherston is taking on Victoria Park Legends in a special charity match in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Big Build Appeal. The famous players include Chick Young, Gerry Collins and actor Tony Roper. The match will be held at Tinto Park, this Sunday (8th November) with kick-off at 2pm. Tickets, available in advance or on the gate, are £5 (£3 OAP/children) and all proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Big Build Appeal.  Helensburgh and West Dunbartonshire Ramblers’ Weekend Walk  Depart 9.00am     (Hillwalking)
Location: Meet at Helensburgh Pier in front of the swimming pool.
Today's walk is around Meall Cala, The Mell, in Glen Finglas. The trail starts in forest, passes the reservoir and then heads into Glen Meann where it reaches a height of 600m. From there the track descends into Glen Finglas and eventually rejoins the outward route. On road and hill track, this 25km strenuous walk has a total ascent of 586m and will take 7hr.
