| John Byrne in conversation at The Mitchell Theatre, Glasgow 7pm start (Arts and Entertainment) Location: Mitchell Theatre, Granville Street, Glasgow Renowned Scottish artist and playwright John Byrne will chat informally about his work with Sandy Moffat OBE, the former head of painting and printmaking at The Glasgow School of Art. The evening is hosted by The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (The RGI), to coincide with the Institute’s Annual Open Exhibition also taking place at The Mitchell until 29 November, 2009. From 11am to 8pm, Monday to Friday; 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10am to 5.30a (Kids) Location: Braehead Shopping Centre From now until Christmas Eve, a brand new Christmas experience with a 4D film about Santa shown in a cinema cunningly disguised as a gingerbread house The hi-tech ten-minute movie is called A Tinkerdoodle Christmas and those watching will not only see the film in 3D, but they will feel what appear to be snowflakes falling from the sky when it’s snowing on screen.
